European Industrial Bus (EIB) is the intelligent building system that is widely used to control household appliance, with main functions such as lighting, motorized blind, security defense, AV devices, air-conditioner, floor heating and fan-coil unit control.
The system is mainly composed of intelligent panels (sensors) and actuators. Generally speaking, intelligent panels are installed in bedroom, dinning room, living room, studying room, audiovisual room, kitchen and toilet. You can use the intelligent panel to control lighting, dimmer, motorized blind, air-conditioner, floor heating and AV devices etc. In addition, it is also possible to operate the installation remotely via a remote controller, telephone and internet. Actuators are generally installed in the standard lighting control box, of course, also installed in an enclosure, answering for executing the commands from intelligent panels (sensors) to control electrical loads such as lighting, blind, and air-conditioner.
